Vanitas | Custom Sculptural Commission

Created as a private commission for Rocker's Tattoo Saloon in Split, Croatia, Vanitas is an original sculptural work by Nikola, conceived specifically for the character and identity of the space.

The composition combines the human skull with an exaggerated sculptural form, balancing anatomical reference with a more expressive, contemporary treatment. Modelled entirely by hand, the visible surface and tool marks remain integral to the finished work.

The piece was developed as a site-specific commission, demonstrating the possibility of creating original sculpture around a particular space, concept or personal brief.
