Meet the Artist

Nikola holds a Master’s degree in Academic Sculpture from the Art Academy in Split and has worked on the restoration of multiple historical stone sites, including UNESCO World Heritage locations and the restoration of Emperor Diocletian’s East Wall.

His practice spans original drawing, painting, and handmade sculpture, with a focus on figurative structure, material integrity, and permanence.

Based in Split, a city formed within the walls of a 1,700 year old Roman palace, Nikola developed his work in direct proximity to stone restoration, classical form, and historical architecture. That environment continues to shape the sensibility behind his practice: restrained, physical, and rooted in craftsmanship.

Working primarily through charcoal, paint, plaster, and sculptural form, his approach combines traditional academic discipline with a contemporary understanding of space and composition. Each original work is created by hand and produced as a unique piece.

POP FACTORY was created as a concept store and curatorial space bringing together original artworks alongside a carefully selected collection of interior objects and design pieces. The selection is guided by the same principles present within the studio practice itself: material quality, sculptural presence, atmosphere, and longevity.

Rather than functioning as a traditional online gallery or decor store, POP FACTORY presents a dialogue between collectible art and interior space, offering works and objects intended to coexist naturally within contemporary environments.

In addition to original works, Nikola accepts private commissions across drawing, painting, and sculpture for collectors, residential interiors, hospitality spaces, and architectural projects.

Every original artwork presented through POP FACTORY exists as a singular work. Once acquired, it leaves the collection permanently.
